UV Flatbed printing is unique to fine art digital printing, in that it’s the only process that offers white ink and spot varnish. Additionally, it allows you to print directly to rigid materials that cannot be run through our other printers.

Prints are cured using halogen UV lamps as the print is being created, and the printed surfaces are very durable compared to water based pigmented prints.

UV inks are applied to the print surface with a considerable thickness compared to other print methods. With proper planning, UV flatbed printing can be used to create 3 dimensional relief-like surfaces, or reproductions of original surface textures.

KEY BENEFITS:

  • Wide Range of Rigid Surfaces
  • Print on Uncoated Materials
  • Ability to Print Textured Surfaces
  • No Framing Required // Optional
  • Extremely Wide Color Gamut
  • Very Bright Colors // Nearly Florescent in Some Cases
  • Durable Print Surface
  • Ok for Outdoors // UV Cured
